About the owner
We bought our home just a year ago and immediately saw the potential particularly in the outbuildings. It was love at first sight as soon as myself, my husband Glen, daughter Kimberley and Son David pulled into the drive. The house is still a work in progress as we have spent most of our time converting the outbuilding. Our first holiday cottage 'Owl's Nest' was completed in July 2011 and the second 'Little Acorn' is due to open March/April 2012. Our collection of animals seems to increase weekly, and we now have over 30 chickens, 4 cats, 3 dogs, 4 miniature shetland ponies, 3 soay sheep, 3 alpacas, 4 pigs, 15 ducks and 5 geese. There is also a small carp lake and we have been told there are some big ones in there although we have not seen them yet!
We have also opened one of our fields for summertime camping if family wanted to stay whilst you were staying in Owl's Nest. Very basic facilities, for details see this link Camping..
